Sistory
by Sister Gunza Blazin

In September of 2009, I turned 28. As I was laying in bed on the morning of my birthday, I laid there and thought about what I have done with my life and what I have given back to the community. At that point in time, I must say it wasn’t very much. It was then when I heeded my calling to the sisterhood. Later that day I made two very important phone calls to Ivanna Pocahotass and Anita Mandablough. Shortly after those two came on board, Novice Sister Fiddle D. Dee and Rapture Divine Cox joined us on our new journey to make Atlanta and the surrounding areas a better place to live.

Halloween weekend was a very exciting but yet nerve racking. Not only was it our community debut, but for some of us, it was our first time to meet sisters from all over the United States. Having Sister Soami, Right Sarong, Mary Juanita High, Tuna Noodle Cocktail, Gretichin Gitaround, Enya Face, and Guard DoublePenatration at our sides, I knew we were ready to show Atlanta a new organization that is ready to meet the needs of a very diverse community.
